updates ...

I finally found it's been a long time since my last post and it's time to tell what happened during the last months.

Basically nothing has changed in the meantime although very much happened - I had the pleasure to experience the complete range of personal feelings but finally everything is the way it always has been. So I am quite happy I haven't posted anything to document this passage in my life ;-) (and I guess it's better to write poems about it rather than to write a report *grin*)

Among the things to keep has been the trip to the Ticino together with my lute playing friends which was highlighted by a concert in a small village.

Soon my brother's 50th birthday and then Christmas came and I've spent a couple of days in Germany with the family. On December, 28th I drove back to Switzerland via Rorschach where we attended a recital by Lutz and Martina Kirchhof (http://lutz-kirchhof.de/). During the travel I arranged to meet the other day with friends to watch "Avatar". The new year I started alone at my apartment celebrating the new year with a delicious fondue (http://static.ifood.tv/files/Fromage%20Fondue.jpg). January flew by and I don't recall much being very special, February started and brought my birthday - it's been funny because Jürg came by for rehearsing. So I have had company but he didn't notice it's my birthday :-)
(of course some Facebook-"friends" have sent their birthday wishes and family members called and I received some SMS from friends).

I've read some books which have been fantastic reading experiences
  • Terry Pratchett "Unseen Academicals"
  • Peter S. Beagle "The last Unicorn"
  • Khaled Hosseini "The Kite Runner"
  • Carlos Ruiz Zafón "Der dunkle Wächter"
  • David Almond "Skellig"
  • Sergej Lukianenko "Wächter der Nacht"
All of them highly recommended.

Among the highlights of the past week has been Catherine saying Hello. She is an old virtual friend of mine. I haven't heard of her for two long years.
And I got a call from Reykjavik from Magdalena asking me to join her for a concert (or a series of concerts) in Poland in the summer. Guess my answer ;-)
